Today after your hearty breakfast, you will be picked up to start your 3 Days Birding in Lake Mburo National Park. We shall have a stop at the Equator where you will perform a simple experiment to experience a tropical balance, have a look at the traditional drums and crafts being made, and thereafter proceed to Lake Mburo National Park, an extension of the Tanzanian plains with big herds of zebra, impala, eland and other ungulates. Bird viewing opportunities are excellent – for birders, this is one of the best places to find African fin foot, papyrus bush shrike. Check in at your lodge and Have Lunch; enjoy the whole evening relaxing at the Lodge as you’re watching birds around.
Today makes the climax of your 3 Days Birding in Lake Mburo National Park, you will be picked up to start your . We shall have a stop at the Equator t, explore the park with a very early morning bush walk in search of animals like: zebras, impalas, topis, buffaloes, elands. Bird watching opportunities are excellent here, with about 313 bird species recorded here including the rare shoe bill stork, White-winged Warbler, Crested Francolin among others. After you will do a game drive as you return to the lodge for lunch before heading out for a boat ride that gives you the chance to view water loving animals like; Crocodiles, Hippopotamus and water birds including; Fish Eagles, Pelicans, Black crake, purple Heron, Cormorant, pied Kingfisher and the rare shoe bill stork. Return to your lodge for a relaxed evening, dinner and overnight stay.
Depending on your departure time, you will have a relaxed breakfast, and then exit the park as you’re doing a game drive, you will have a stopover at the equator for lunch and there after proceed with the journey back to Kampala for your drop off hence ending your 3 Days Birding in Lake Mburo National Park in Uganda.
