Combine Stone Town, a Unesco World Heritage Site, and a beach resort on Zanzibar with 2 nights on safari in Nyerere National Park (formerly Selous) in South Tanzania. Let go of worries and tension whilst enjoying the pristine beaches of the exotic island. Once rested, travel to discover Nyerere National Park and be captivated by what nature has to offer. After these very exciting days, spend some more lazy days along stretches of white sandy beaches on Zanzibar, before returning to daily life.
Upon arrival at the airport of Zanzibar, your driver will take you to Shaba Boutique Hotel, where you will check in to a suite room. Take your time enjoying the history of Stone Town, the many restaurants and the daily life in this historic town. Don’t forget to explore the night market!
After an early breakfast, you will be taken to the airport for a flight in a sturdy bush plane to Nyerere. As soon as you arrive, you will spend a full-day game driving in Nyerere National Park (Selous). It’s one of the largest remaining wilderness areas in Africa. The reserve is crossed by the second biggest river in Tanzania, the Rufiji River, creating a very dynamic ecosystem. Selous is home to over 350 species of birds and reptiles, and about 2,000 plant species.
You will also find a wide range of wildlife, including African elephant, hippopotamus, lion, Cape buffalo, Masai giraffe, zebra, crocodile, and everything in between. The vehicle is an open four-wheel-drive safari Jeep, perfectly suited for taking unobstructed pictures. The vehicles are low emission (thus less noise), to take you up-close to the wildlife. At the end of the day, you will check-in at Africa Safari Selous for a good dinner and overnight sleep.
After a delicious breakfast, time to discover the area in a different way. The Bushmen are awaiting you to explain the natural surroundings. In the afternoon, a boat safari on the Rufiji River. At the end of this exciting day, you will have dinner and overnight in Africa Safari Selous.
After breakfast, you take a short ride to the airstrip for a domestic flight back to Zanzibar Airport. Next, you will arrive at Zanzibar Bay Resort. Here, you will check in to a luxury room. In the coming days, you can enjoy Zanzibar Bay Resort, the ocean and relax, or if you like, you can venture out on one of the many excursions offered.
Wake up to the sound of the ocean waves, and feel free to engage in several excursions offered by the hotel. Dive into the clear blue waters of the Indian Ocean, or explore the underwater world surrounding the island by trying out a dive or snorkeling tour. Allow time to stand still as you collect wonderful memories.
After breakfast and check-out, a vehicle is awaiting you to take you to Zanzibar Airport for your flight back home.

Your safari trip will take place in several locations in Uganda including Murchison Falls National Park, Kibale Forest National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, and Bwindi Forest National Park.
