Kibira Forest which has 200 bird species i.e the great blue turaco, mountain buzzard, white-spotted flufftail, grey parrot, bar-tailed trogon and the black-and-white-casqued hornbill. Various primate species can also be spotted around the park and these include; chimpanzees and black and white colobus monkeys. Burundi has many places of interest: from the Capital Bujumbura, to the beautiful landscapes of Lake Tanganika, Ruvubu and Kibira Forest and the Source of the Nile at Rutovu. These places boast of antelopes, hares, buffalos, cynocephalus and tropical and wild crocodile.
Arrive and transfer to your hotel to check-in.
Half day tours in Bujumbura, to visit the Snake & Culture Museum; the Islam Culture Centre; City Hall; President’s Office and the main attraction of the City: Lake Tanganyika.
Visit Kibira Forest National Park, for a guided nature walk in this park of few animals species. Time permitting, visit the Explorers Memorial, a huge rock in the Suburbs of Bujumbura commemorating the meeting between explorers Livingston Stanley in 1871.
Dinner and overnight at Club du Lac Tanganyika Hotel on a Bed & Breakfast basis
After Breakfast return to Bujumbura and proceed to the airport for departure. End of Safari

Your safari trip will take place in several locations in Uganda including Murchison Falls National Park, Kibale Forest National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, and Bwindi Forest National Park.
