4 Days xpedition in Central Kenya near Nairobi featuring white water rafting on River Tana and trekking on the Aberdares Ranges before returning to Nairobi.
You have the morning pick up either from the Jomo Kenyatta Airport, Nairobi or at the Nairobi City Centre. Take the drive to Sagana area and check in at the Rapids Camp. Enjoy the afternoon white water rafting with your guides on Tana River before returning to the Rapids Camp.
Breakfast. Take the morning drive to the Aberdares National Park. You have lunch on the way. Enjoy your afternoon game viewing at the Aberdares National Park’s Salient. Here, you may watch elephants, buffalos, monkeys and plenty of birds.
Take a visit to the many waterfalls around here including Karuru, Chania and Gura winding up with a visit to the Queens Cave.
Breakfast. Take the transfer to the Wanderi’s roadhead through moorland and hegenia zone. Commence the 4 hours trek to the Summit of the Aberdares, Ol Donyo Satima ( 4,001 metres). You will have breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes and take some memorable photographs. Return to the Camp for lunch and embark on the drive back to Nairobi; arriving in the evening.
